Some Information Regarding Contributions
In order for the China-Zentrum to continue promoting encounters and exchange between the cultures and religions of the West and China, and to continue publishing the Journal “China heute” as well as the e-journal Religions & Chris-tianity in Today’s China, we are in need of financial support.

The China-Zentrum e.V. is recognized by the tax authorities in Sankt Augustin as a non-profit organization for the purpose of promoting greater understanding among peoples, and in accord with §5 Abs. 1 Nr. 9 KStG is exempt from corporate taxes in accord with the principle of §52 Abs. 2 Nr. 13 AO.
The amount indicated on the contribution form is deductible on your annual wage-tax adjustment or on your annual tax assessment.
We certify that your contribution will be used only for those purposes outlined in our Statutes.
For contributions up to € 200,- the payment slip is recognized by the finance office as proof of your contribution when paying your taxes, provided that you use the China-Zentrum’s contribution form for remittance. For contributions over € 200,-- or upon your express request, the China-Zentrum will provide a special receipt to document your contribution.
Since 2008 there is also the possibility of a sponsoring membership. The minimum annual contribution for individuals is EUR 100,00 and for institutions EUR 500,00.
Sponsoring members are regularly informed about our work, receive our journals, and are invited to meetings and events.
